Ukraine is preparing a series of meetings in the United States with international partners, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an address on Sept. 16. The discussions are expected to focus on peace efforts, energy, food security and weapons, including new air defense support packages for Ukraine. Zelenskyy did not provide details on the timing or participants of the planned meetings. His comments were published on the official website of the President of Ukraine. Separately, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva met with a delegation from the European External Action Service led by Deputy Secretary General for Peace, Security and Defense David Cvach. Zhovkva said continued support for Ukraine would help develop Europe’s defense industry and strengthen the European Union’s broader defense capabilities. Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov also held an online meeting with Ukrainian students studying at universities in the United Kingdom. The discussion focused on promoting Ukraine abroad and engaging Ukrainian students in the country’s international efforts.
