Budanov Urges Students to Build Ties

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov held an online meeting with Ukrainian students studying at universities in the United Kingdom, discussing their potential role in Ukraine’s public sector and international outreach.

Budanov encouraged students to build professional relationships with international classmates, exchange knowledge and develop joint projects. He said graduates could use those networks to support Ukraine after returning home and contributing to public life.

The meeting also focused on communicating information about the war in Ukraine to international students and media outlets, as well as countering Russian propaganda. Participants discussed initiatives by Ukrainian student communities abroad to promote Ukrainian studies, cultural diplomacy and other forms of support for the country.

Budanov urged the students to maintain their connection with Ukraine through their actions and future work, emphasizing that their knowledge and international contacts could contribute to the country’s development.
