U.S. Envoys Set for Moscow, Kyiv Visits

U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are scheduled to visit Moscow and Kyiv on Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an address published Sept. 4 on the Ukrainian presidential website. Zelenskyy said the planned visits had been discussed with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The announcement comes as Kyiv continues to emphasize the need for diplomatic progress in efforts related to Russia’s war against Ukraine. No further details about the envoys’ schedule or the agenda for their meetings were provided in the statement.
