Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a special meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief after several days of discussions with army corps commanders about battlefield needs, defense supplies and military strategy.

The meeting brought together commanders from the Airborne Assault Forces, the 10th, 11th and 19th Army Corps, the Khartiia and Azov Corps, defense industry representatives, and officials from the ministries of Defense and Finance. Representatives of Ukraine’s special services also attended.

Participants discussed delays in deliveries, unresolved procurement issues, additional funding and contracts for drones, ground robotic systems, long-range artillery ammunition and other equipment. They also reviewed defects reported by combat units and discussed measures for manufacturers to address them.

The participants agreed to create a regular dialogue involving military corps, defense manufacturers and government agencies, coordinated by the Ministry of Defense and the National Security and Defense Council. The meeting also covered air defense and diplomatic priorities. Zelenskyy said he would continue meeting with other corps commanders to help set Ukraine’s defense and production priorities ahead of the coming months.
