Queensland police are seeking the owner of a blue urn containing ashes that washed up on Peregian Beach near beach access 66. A member of the public found the urn in the sand on Aug. 12 and handed it in to Noosa Police Station. It has remained in a police holding area and has not yet been claimed. The Queensland Police Service is asking the owner, or anyone with information that could help identify them, to come forward. The relevant police reference number is QP2601562932.
