NASA has released the schedule for MAX POWER, a new aerospace expo and air show set for Nov. 6-8 at and near Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The event will feature aircraft, autonomous vehicles, space technologies and appearances by NASA leaders, astronauts, engineers and scientists. The family-oriented public program will open its gates at 9 a.m. EST on Nov. 7 and 8. NASA plans to display its X-59 quiet supersonic aircraft, while partner organizations will showcase lunar rovers, spacecraft and other technologies. The expo follows NASA’s recent Inspiration Tour, which included flyovers highlighting the agency’s aircraft fleet. Key events on Saturday include an Artemis III crew appearance, demonstrations involving NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, a presentation on the Roman Space Telescope and a 5 p.m. news conference on the agency’s planned Moon Base. The briefing will include NASA officials and program leaders and will be streamed online. Sunday’s program will feature an X-59 media event, a student challenge announcement, an appearance by the SpaceX Crew-12 astronauts and a United States Space Academy session. Media credentialing is closed, but approved journalists may request interviews or virtual access to the news conference through NASA Headquarters. The full schedule is available at NASA.gov/maxpower.
