Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance after a vehicle was destroyed in a suspicious fire at a Richlands complex earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to Orchard Road at about 5:10 a.m. on September 5 following reports of a loud bang. Officers found a blue 2025 MG ZST hatchback fully engulfed in flames, and firefighters extinguished the blaze. The vehicle was destroyed.

Detectives from the State Flying Squad are investigating and seeking witnesses who were near Orchard Road, close to the community centre, from 5 a.m. onward. Police are also asking for relevant dashcam footage or information about anyone seen in the area.
