Queensland police are investigating two dangerous driving incidents in Gympie and have released an image of a silver people mover believed to be involved. Officers are seeking witnesses, CCTV footage and dashcam recordings that could help identify the driver.

Police said the vehicle was travelling north on Duke Street near Iron Street shortly after 11 p.m. on September 7 when it veered onto a concrete footpath and struck a pedestrian. The 45-year-old Gympie man walked home before contacting emergency services and was taken to Gympie Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At about 11:16 p.m., the same vehicle allegedly swerved in front of a 15-year-old cyclist travelling in a bike lane on Exhibition Road. The cyclist was not injured.

Investigations remain ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Policelink through the Queensland Police Service reporting channels or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000, quoting reference QP2601754720.
