A 25-year-old Griffin man has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged shooting in Aspley last month, Queensland Police said. Police allege a 24-year-old Aspley man was found with two gunshot wounds on Centre Street at about 10:50 p.m. on August 25. He was taken to hospital in serious condition. Detectives from the Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch arrested the man at a Griffin address on September 8. He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 9. The arrest follows the charging of a 33-year-old Narangba man on August 28 in connection with the investigation. Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
