In a series of significant events on July 10, 2026, Ukrainian leadership underlined its active role on the international stage through educational, diplomatic, and military initiatives.

The First International Conference of Ukrainian Studies, titled “Ukraine in the World”, was inaugurated in Lviv by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska. Addressing over 250 scholars from 38 countries, Zelenska emphasized the need to transform global interest in Ukraine into deep, actionable knowledge. Concurrently, her foundation announced the expansion of the inclusive CosmoCamp, now reaching three cities, further supporting the psychosocial growth of children and teenagers across Ukraine.

On the diplomatic front, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held significant meetings with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and Michael McCaul, Chairman Emeritus of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Discussions focused on reinforcing sanctions against Russia, reflecting on the NATO summit outcomes, and enhancing U.S.-Ukraine cooperation.

Additionally, President Zelenskyy announced the creation of a special command within the Ukrainian Armed Forces aimed at long-range operations to significantly degrade Russia’s warfighting capabilities. This new command underscores Ukraine’s strategic military posture in response to ongoing conflicts.

These developments signify Ukraine’s multifaceted strategy in strengthening national resilience and asserting its presence on the global stage through education, diplomacy, and defense.
