Ukraine hosted the first Carpathian Summit in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, bringing together leaders and representatives from countries connected by the Carpathian Mountains. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the new Carpathian Integration Initiative aims to deepen regional cooperation in transport, energy, trade, defense and humanitarian affairs.
