Samsung Electronics is bringing telecommunications operators, manufacturers, government representatives and academics together in Mountain View, California, for the Silicon Valley Future Wireless Summit 2026. More than 100 participants are attending the Oct. 15 event at Samsung Research America, following a Partner Day held at the same location.

The summit focuses on software-driven networks for the artificial intelligence and 6G eras, along with collaboration across the telecommunications ecosystem. Sessions address AI-native 6G networks, satellite-based connectivity through non-terrestrial networks and technologies designed to link physical environments with digital services.

Samsung is also demonstrating technologies developed with industry partners, including AI-enabled radio access networks, eXtreme Multiple-Input Multiple-Output systems, distributed MIMO and integrated sensing and communications. The demonstrations include field validation of AI-driven RAN performance, transmission in the 7-gigahertz band and sensing capabilities using base-station infrastructure.

The event is part of Samsung’s broader effort to expand global 6G research partnerships. The company cited collaborations with LG U+, Verizon, NTT DOCOMO, KDDI Research, KT, SK Telecom and SoftBank, including work on integrated sensing and communications and other AI-native network technologies.
