Samsung is expanding language support across Galaxy AI and Bixby, adding new options for translation, transcription, summarization and device control. The updates are intended to make the company’s artificial intelligence features more accessible to users in their own languages. Galaxy AI features including Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter and Transcript Assist are gaining support for Hungarian and Malay. The additions bring translation-related tools such as Live Translate to 24 languages. Samsung said Now Nudge, which recommends relevant next steps based on on-screen content, is also adding Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish and Turkish. Bixby, Samsung’s conversational device assistant, is adding Polish, Thai and Vietnamese, bringing its total supported languages to 12. The new Bixby language options began rolling out Oct. 14, while the additional Galaxy AI languages are scheduled to follow in the coming weeks. Availability may vary by device, country and language. Some Galaxy AI languages can be downloaded through the Settings application, and Bixby requires a Samsung Account and a data connection. Samsung also noted that performance may differ depending on factors such as pronunciation, voice level and surrounding noise. Post navigation Samsung Expands Health Coaching Features
