A 17-year-old boy from Clermont has died after a serious traffic crash on the Peak Downs Highway at Blue Mountain in Isaac, Queensland, police said. Emergency services were called to the crash at about 6:45 a.m. on September 21 after a Toyota Hilux utility collided with an Isuzu Pantechnicon truck. The teenager, who was the sole occupant of the utility, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later died. The truck driver, a man in his 20s, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police said investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing and urged anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
