Two men have been charged over a series of alleged property offences in the Gladstone area, including the theft of power tools, machinery and an e-bike.

Queensland Police said the men, aged 33 and 38 and from New Auckland, allegedly entered businesses in Callemondah and Gladstone Central between Sept. 7 and Sept. 10. The incidents involved businesses on Garfield Street, Goondoon Street and Bensted Road.

Police executed a search warrant at a New Auckland address on Sept. 17 and allegedly located stolen property, illicit drugs and a drug utensil.

Each man was charged with three counts of receiving tainted property, two counts of entering premises and committing an indictable offence, and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing a drug utensil and contravening an access order. They were due to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Sept. 18. The police reference number is QP2601750436.
