A devastating single-vehicle accident occurred early this morning on Stratford Road, Stratford, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy and injuries to three young adults. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) reported that the incident happened at around 4:13 AM when a grey Toyota Fortuner wagon veered off the road and rolled over.

The young victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while two men, aged 20 and 22, and a 19-year-old woman were rushed to Cairns Hospital for treatment. The vehicle involved was confirmed stolen from Pomona Avenue, Mooroobool, just an hour before the crash.
