Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has enacted sanctions against Russian entities and individuals accused of supporting the production of ballistic missiles and supplying equipment to Russia’s defense industry, according to the president’s official website. The measures target organizations and people linked to the supply of equipment and components used in military aircraft, armored vehicles, missile systems and drones. The sanctions implement decisions by Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council. In a separate address, Zelenskyy said Starlink and Starshield services had returned to operating speeds recorded before restrictions were imposed. He thanked U.S. officials, members of Congress, media organizations and other partners for supporting efforts to restore the services, saying the move was important for protecting lives.
