A 45-year-old Queensland Police senior sergeant has been charged over the alleged theft of shop goods while off duty, Queensland Police Service said. The Brisbane Region officer was served with a notice to appear and is expected to face Holland Park Magistrates Court on September 18, 2026. The officer has been stood down from the service while the matter proceeds.
