NASA will provide live coverage of the launch and docking of the Roscosmos Progress 96 cargo spacecraft, which is scheduled to deliver about three tons of food, fuel and supplies to the International Space Station. The uncrewed spacecraft is set to launch aboard a Soyuz rocket at 12:15 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. NASA’s launch coverage will begin at noon EDT through its online streaming platforms. Progress 96 is expected to reach the space station after a two-day journey and autonomously dock with the Poisk module at 2:37 p.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 11. Coverage of the arrival will begin at 1:45 p.m. NASA will stream both events at nasa.gov/live. The spacecraft is expected to remain attached to the station for about five months before departing for a planned destructive re-entry over the Pacific Ocean. Before its arrival, the Progress 94 cargo spacecraft is scheduled to undock Sept. 7; NASA said it will not provide live coverage of that departure. Post navigation Zelenskyy Prepares U.S. Envoy Talks
