In a shocking incident late Saturday night, a 50-year-old man from Inala was robbed at knifepoint and his car was subsequently torched, as reported by Queensland Police. The robbery occurred on Crocus Street when the victim, seated in his parked Ford Fiesta, was ambushed by five men, one wielding a large knife and another armed with a baseball bat.

Complying with the assailants’ demands, the victim handed over his car keys, after which the robbers fled in his grey 2011 Ford Focus. The stolen vehicle was later found destroyed by fire on Wagawn Street in Woodridge at approximately 12:40 AM. The victim sustained minor injuries during the ordeal.

Queensland Police are actively seeking information from the public to assist in their ongoing investigation. The perpetrators are described as being in their early twenties, dressed in black, and of dark complexion. Authorities urge anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward and help in the apprehension of the suspects.
