Police in Glenore Grove have arrested three individuals following a late-night intrusion at a local wrecking yard on Isador Street on April 30, 2026. The incident, which involved a total of six people, occurred around 11:45 pm when the group allegedly breached the property’s perimeter. Upon receiving the alert, law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene. A police dog named PD Dundee was instrumental in locating the suspects who were attempting to hide in tall grass within the yard. The search led to the discovery and seizure of bolt cutters among the suspects’ possessions. Despite the break-in, no stolen items were reported from the site. Charges have been filed against a 29-year-old man from Muirlea, and two 18-year-olds, one from One Mile and the other from Alexandra Hills. The charges include entering premises with intent, possession of items intended for use in committing an offense, and wilful damage. Additionally, the 29-year-old has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. All accused are scheduled to appear in the Gatton Magistrates Court on May 26, 2026. As the investigation continues, three 17-year-old boys are also assisting the police with their inquiries.
