Police are urgently calling for witnesses following a serious traffic incident in Greenslopes, where a pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle on the evening of March 20, 2026. The collision occurred at approximately 6:45 PM on Cornwall Street near its intersection with Baron Street.

According to the Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit, the victim, a 39-year-old woman from Greenslopes, was crossing the road when she was hit by an eastbound motorcycle. Shockingly, the motorcycle did not stop and fled the scene. Investigators found debris indicating the motorcycle might be black. The injured woman was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious leg injuries and remains in critical condition.
