Police in Bowen Hills are urgently seeking information regarding an attempted armed robbery and assault that occurred early on the morning of March 15. At approximately 12:15 AM, emergency services rushed to the scene at the intersection of Cowlishaw Street and Montpelier Road after two men in a white 4WD reportedly accosted a 41-year-old pedestrian demanding money and subsequently inflicted a stab wound to his arm.

Despite their violent efforts, the assailants fled empty-handed, leaving the victim to be transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects, described as Caucasian males in their early 20s, remain at large as local authorities intensify their search.
