NASA is inviting the public to send their names aboard the Dragonfly rotorcraft, which is scheduled to explore Saturn’s moon Titan. Names submitted through the agency’s “Journey to Titan” campaign will be placed on a microchip carried by the spacecraft, and participants will receive personalized digital boarding passes.

Submissions will remain open until 11:59 p.m. EST on Jan. 15, 2027. The campaign is available at https://go.nasa.gov/dragonfly-names.

Dragonfly is scheduled to launch in 2028 and arrive at Titan in 2034. The rotorcraft will fly between sites on the moon, studying its thick atmosphere, methane rivers and lakes, organic-rich dunes, and other environments while searching for clues about prebiotic chemistry and the conditions that could support life.

The spacecraft is being assembled at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, which leads the mission for NASA. Dragonfly is the fourth mission in NASA’s New Frontiers Program, managed by the agency’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
