Hyundai Motor Company reported accelerating global retail sales in the third quarter of 2026, driven by growth in the Americas and India and strong demand for hybrid vehicles in North America.

Sales in North America increased 3% during the first nine months of the year, while sales in India rose 10%, according to the company. Hyundai said hybrid sales in North America climbed 56% over the same period, supporting continued growth in its electrified-vehicle lineup.

Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury brand, recorded its strongest third quarter in the United States and introduced the GV90, its new flagship model. The company released the results on Oct. 29 as part of its 2026 third-quarter and year-to-date sales update.
