Queensland police have renewed an appeal for information about the death of a three-month-old girl who suffered serious injuries in South Maclean in November 2024. Police said the infant was at a residence on Lynd Road at about 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 8, 2024, when she was taken by ambulance to Logan Hospital. She was later transferred to Queensland Children’s Hospital, where she died on Nov. 9. Detectives from the Child Trauma and Sexual Crime Unit and the Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit have continued investigating the circumstances of the death. Police are seeking information from anyone who was in the Lynd Road area around the time of the incident or who may be able to assist the investigation.
