Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv is prepared to halt airstrikes on cities involved in negotiations, including Moscow, as diplomatic contacts with U.S. envoys and Russia continue. During a call with U.S. presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Zelenskyy said Ukraine would refrain from strikes on Moscow from the time of the conversation through Saturday, Sunday and Monday. He said Kyiv expects Russia to take reciprocal action and avoid strikes on Kyiv during the same period. Zelenskyy said Witkoff and Kushner had begun working with the Russian side and that Ukraine was ready for substantive discussions with the U.S. team during planned diplomatic engagements in Kyiv. The Ukrainian president also received briefings from Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi on battlefield conditions, threats to Ukraine’s airspace and ongoing defensive operations. He praised Ukrainian troops and said the country’s diplomatic efforts would remain equally firm and effective. Post navigation U.S. Envoys Set for Moscow, Kyiv Visits
