Queensland police have charged a fourth boy in connection with the alleged grievous bodily harm of a 14-year-old boy at Kingston on August 14.

Detectives from the Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit charged the 14-year-old Crestmead boy with eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while in company, along with one count each of grievous bodily harm, attempted stealing and wilful damage.

The boy is scheduled to appear in Beenleigh Children’s Court on August 24. Three other boys previously charged over the incident are also due to appear that day.
