Queensland police are appealing for witnesses after a serious two-vehicle crash at Boreen Point on the Sunshine Coast early Monday morning. The crash occurred about 1 a.m. on Louis Bazzo Drive when a 2007 grey Toyota Yaris, driven by a 44-year-old Cootharaba man, collided with a 2014 silver Nissan Micra driven by a 32-year-old man from Cooroy Mountain. Both drivers and a 31-year-old male passenger in the Nissan, also from Cooroy Mountain, were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Police are seeking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or other footage that may assist the investigation.
