Queensland police are appealing for witnesses after a single-vehicle crash between Rockhampton and Yeppoon left a 29-year-old man with minor injuries on May 12.

Emergency services were called about 8 a.m. after a white Nissan Navara travelling east on Yeppoon Road left the roadway and struck a road sign between Access 7 and Capricorn Road near Limestone Creek. The driver, from Berserker, was taken to Yeppoon Hospital.

The man was charged with eight offences, including driving while unlicensed, operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, possessing a rifle unlawfully, possessing ammunition without the required authority and receiving tainted property. He is scheduled to reappear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on May 20.
