Children Rob Woman in Ashgrove

Police in Queensland are currently investigating a robbery incident that occurred in Ashgrove on the evening of April 20, 2026. According to reports, a woman was assaulted and robbed by two children while walking along Coopers Camp Road near Waterworks Road shortly after 10 p.m.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was pursued by a boy and a girl, both approximately 12 years old. The chase ended on Kinkade Avenue, where the juveniles demanded her bag and threatened her. During the confrontation, one child struck the woman in the head, while the other forcibly took the bag from her shoulder. The offenders then fled the scene in a white BMW, which was parked nearby.
