In a recent incident in Cannonvale, a man has been charged with multiple offenses after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle into a police car. The event occurred on April 17 at approximately 4:45 pm on Abell Road, as police attempted to intercept the vehicle.

No injuries were reported from the collision. However, a 34-year-old man from Bowen was arrested shortly after the incident. He faces several charges, including endangering a police officer by driving a motor vehicle, wilful damage, and obstructing a police officer. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Proserpine Magistrates Court on April 20.
