Carbrook Collision: Critical Injuries

A severe traffic accident occurred today, April 16, at approximately 2:20 PM on Beenleigh Redland Bay Road, Carbrook, prompting a swift response from police and emergency services. The collision involved a silver Toyota Corolla and a mobile crane, resulting in critical injuries to one individual.

The Toyota, headed east, collided head-on with the crane traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Toyota, a 66-year-old man from Tara, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for urgent care. Conversely, the crane operator, a 57-year-old man from Lota, and his passenger, a 36-year-old from Brighton, escaped unscathed.
