Queensland Police have charged a 13-year-old boy following an alleged assault at Victoria Point on March 26 that left a 15-year-old boy with minor injuries. Police were called to Colburn Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. after reports that two teenage boys had allegedly assaulted the Thornlands teenager. Investigations were conducted by Cleveland Police and the Child Protection Investigation Unit. A 13-year-old Thornlands boy has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm while in company. He has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act. Investigations are continuing.
