Three Teens Charged in Break-Ins

Queensland police have charged three teenagers following investigations into a series of alleged break-and-enter offences across the South Brisbane and Gold Coast districts between March 30 and 31.

Police allege the group was connected to incidents at properties in Rochedale, Calamvale and Robina. An 18-year-old Coomera man faces six charges, including attempted entry to a dwelling, armed offences, assault occasioning bodily harm, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and wilful damage. He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court.

A 17-year-old Browns Plains boy and a 16-year-old Coombabah boy have each been charged with 14 offences. The charges include alleged robberies, unlawful use of motor vehicles, attempted entries, armed offences, assault and property damage. The younger boy also faces nine additional charges relating to alleged offences in South Brisbane in early December.

The two other teenagers arrested on April 1, aged 18 and 14, were released without charge. Police said investigations are continuing to locate two other teenagers allegedly involved.
