OpenAI said Daybreak Red is now available to approved customers in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) region, expanding access to GPT-5.6 Cyber through Amazon Bedrock. The service is intended for authorized cybersecurity work and is available only to customers approved for use in the government-focused cloud environment, according to the company. OpenAI announced the availability in a Nov. 4, 2026, post on its official blog. AWS GovCloud is designed to support workloads requiring specialized security and compliance controls.
