A 39-year-old pushbike rider has died after a serious collision with a Mitsubishi Pajero in Rockhampton City, Queensland. The crash occurred at about 11:40 a.m. on Friday, August 28, at the intersection of Kent and Cambridge streets. The rider suffered critical injuries and was taken to Rockhampton Hospital, where he died on August 30. A 10-year-old boy who was also on the pushbike was seriously injured and remains in hospital. The 43-year-old Pajero driver was not physically injured and is assisting police with their investigation. Queensland Police are seeking witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
