A 46-year-old man is in critical but stable condition after being stabbed during an alleged attempted break-in at a property in Victoria Point, Queensland, early Tuesday morning. Queensland Police said a group of armed people allegedly tried to enter a property on Albatross Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. on August 25. The resident confronted the group, who then fled the scene after stabbing him several times. The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital. Police are investigating whether the incident was targeted and are appealing for information, including CCTV or other vision from the area.
