A 29-year-old Eagleby man has been charged after allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle into two cars at Calamvale, Brisbane, late on August 24. The man and the drivers of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries. Queensland Police said the man was allegedly driving a stolen silver Ford Territory when he evaded officers at Sunnybank Hills shortly before 10 p.m. He was later observed driving dangerously on Tallowood Way before allegedly turning onto Beaudesert Road at high speed. The Ford collided with a silver Mercedes-Benz C250 and a blue Volkswagen T-Roc. Police said the alleged driver fled the scene but was arrested a short time later and taken to hospital. He faces charges including evading police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence, possession of stolen property and possession of a weapon. He is due to appear at Richlands Magistrates Court on August 25. Police are appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
