A 43-year-old man has died after his vehicle collided head-on with a parked truck in Richlands, Brisbane, in the early hours of August 5, Queensland police said. The crash occurred on Freeman Road at the intersection of Firth Street. Police and emergency services were called to the scene at about 4:08 a.m. The driver, from Leichhardt, suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Police are seeking witnesses, including anyone with dashcam footage or other vision that may assist the inquiry. Investigations remain ongoing.
