Queensland police have charged two people following an alleged physical altercation in Jindalee on July 30 that left a 42-year-old man with multiple serious injuries. Police said the altercation occurred at about 3:45 p.m. near an address on Arrabri Avenue. Three people allegedly fled the scene in a white Audi sedan, but no one was struck by the vehicle. Emergency services later provided first aid to the injured man before taking him to hospital. A 32-year-old Algester man was arrested on August 2 and charged with wounding and entering a dwelling and committing an offence. A 34-year-old Acacia Ridge woman was arrested the following day and charged with wounding, entering a dwelling and committing an offence, possessing utensils or pipes used for drugs, and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs. Both suspects have been remanded in custody. The man is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on October 9, while the woman is due to appear on October 6.
