Queensland police are investigating a robbery in Labrador in which a ride-share driver was assaulted and had his vehicle and mobile phone stolen early on July 21. The 26-year-old man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital. Police said three unknown men entered the vehicle on Marine Parade at about 1 a.m. and forced the driver out before chasing him on foot. The driver was then struck, and the offenders fled in his 2018 white Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was found by police on Bath Street at Labrador at about 1:06 a.m. Investigations are continuing, and police are appealing for information or CCTV footage that could assist the inquiry.
