A comprehensive investigation by the Logan Domestic, Family Violence, and Vulnerable Persons Unit has culminated in the arrest of a 28-year-old man from Yarrabilba, charged with multiple theft and fraud offenses. The charges relate to a series of alleged crimes committed across various locations in Logan, Queensland. The Respondent Accountability Team, a unit within the Logan District focused on high-risk offenders, led the successful operation. Police allege that between November 2025 and May 2026, the suspect engaged in a pattern of criminal activities, including stealing from retail stores and unauthorized use of a stolen bank card. Incidents detailed in the police report include multiple thefts from hardware and sporting goods stores in Browns Plains, and the theft of a woman’s bank card which was subsequently used for fraudulent transactions at Sunnybank Plaza. The man is also accused of driving while disqualified and stealing fuel from a service station. Following his arrest on May 28, the man faces nine counts of stealing, seven counts of fraud, and various other charges. He is currently held in custody, awaiting a court hearing scheduled for July 3 at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court.
