Police in Goondiwindi have arrested a man and a woman linked to a series of property and drug offenses following a targeted investigation. The arrests were made after detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Sandhurst Street on June 1, 2026, where they discovered illicit drugs and a trove of stolen goods.

During the search, authorities uncovered a significant amount of methamphetamine along with various drug paraphernalia. Additionally, the police found an assortment of stolen property including 25 power tools—comprising drills, nail guns, a blower, grinder, planer, and a drop saw—as well as batteries, chargers, and stolen jewelry. These items are believed to have been taken from local homes and vehicles over the past few months, specifically between February and May.

Facing numerous charges, a 42-year-old Goondiwindi woman has been implicated in 13 counts of supplying drugs and various other offenses related to drug possession, possession of crime-related property, and burglary. Alongside her, a 27-year-old local man has been charged with receiving tainted goods and burglary. Both suspects are scheduled to appear in the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on June 24.

The Queensland Police have urged the public to come forward with any information that might assist in further investigations. Reports can be made anonymously through Crime Stoppers or directly to Policelink by using the online suspicious activity reporting form available 24/7.
