A fatal collision between a motorcycle and a truck towing a trailer claimed the life of a 42-year-old man from Pacific Paradise on the afternoon of October 12 in South Bingera, Queensland. The accident occurred around 1:00 PM on South Bingera Road.

The Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Initial reports suggest that a black Yamaha motorcycle was traveling along the road when it collided with a blue Ford Ranger. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 52-year-old driver of the Ford Ranger from South Kolan sustained no physical injuries.

Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation. The Queensland Police is committed to improving road safety and reducing fatalities by addressing the ‘Fatal Five’ high-risk behaviors: speeding, impaired driving, failure to use seatbelts, driving while fatigued, and distracted driving.
