Queensland police are investigating a suspected deliberately lit house fire in Caboolture after officers rescued the sole occupant early Monday morning. Police saw smoke coming from a home on King Street at about 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 while travelling through the area. Officers entered the property, helped a woman in her 30s to safety and extinguished the fire before it spread. The woman was not injured. Initial investigations indicate the fire was deliberately started. Police are seeking witnesses who travelled along King Street around 12:15 a.m. and may have seen suspicious activity.
