A 32-year-old Cornubia man has been charged following the serious stabbing of another man at a property in Wishart, Brisbane, on October 10, Queensland Police said. Police allege the victim was assaulted at a Barcelona Street address at about 4 a.m. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition. A man known to the victim was taken into custody shortly afterward. The Cornubia man has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically. He is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 12. Police are seeking information about the incident under reference number QP2602002709.
