Hyundai Motor Group has presented its vision for future mobility, highlighting electrification, hydrogen technologies and artificial intelligence-driven research and development at the Aachen Colloquium 2026 in Europe. Manfred Harrer, president and head of the group’s R&D Division, delivered a keynote under the conference theme “Beyond Boundaries: Scaling the Sustainable Future.” The group outlined an electrification strategy covering electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, extended-range electric vehicles and fuel-cell electric vehicles. Technical presentations focused on hydrogen fuel-cell systems, electrification and battery technologies. Hyundai also showcased related technologies through an exhibition and test-drive program at the automotive technology conference. The group said integrating the strengths of multiple technology platforms will be important to maintaining its competitiveness in future mobility. The event was held Oct. 6, 2026.
