Queensland police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash involving two vehicles in Belmont on September 26. The crash occurred shortly before 9:45 p.m. on Old Cleveland Road, where a 16-year-old boy from Wynnum was struck by two vehicles. He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition. Police said the first vehicle, described as a dark SUV, left the scene before emergency services arrived. The driver of the second vehicle, a 19-year-old man from Zillmere, was not injured.
