Hyundai, Shell Renew Mobility Partnership

Hyundai Motor Company and Shell have renewed their strategic partnership under a five-year agreement aimed at advancing future mobility solutions. The companies said the agreement builds on more than two decades of collaboration that began in 2005.

The renewed partnership will focus on future mobility initiatives, joint research and development, service marketing and motorsports. The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.

Shell will serve as a performance and innovation partner to Genesis Magma Racing, Hyundai’s motorsports program. The partnership will also include joint development of lubricant solutions for Hyundai’s N performance division.

Hyundai and Shell said the agreement is intended to deepen cooperation across technology, vehicle performance and mobility-related services.
